Boston is the son of Riaz and Kate Chauthani, the owners of Boston Cleaners, and the grandson of Abdul and Mehru Chauthani. This is the Boston Story. 1978 was a good year for the Dry Cleaning Business! It was the year Boston's Grandfather, decided to change his career from an entomologist, and look for a business where he could work with people and provide a valuable service. As a chemist, Abdul also wanted a business where his aptitude to conjure up things may be useful, therefore, Abdul found the business of Dry Cleaning and went to School for his license. Abdul and Mehru then bought Highlander Cleaners in Riverside, California. His son, Riaz, was at his side at the young age of 12, learning the business of Dry Cleaning. It was love at first customer! "Dry Cleaning is it for me," exclaimed Grandpa. And remember what Grandpa used to say to us, no matter what you are, a ditch digger or a doctor - have pride in your work and do it well. Together, Abdul and Riaz learned the trials and tribulations of the Cleaning Business, constantly improving their services and gaining knowledge day by day! Before long, they opened several locations providing quality garment care throughout the Inland Empire. Things change, and it was time for Riaz to go off to college, USC, so they sold several locations for the greater good, or Riaz's that is! Abdul remained at his flagship plant continuing to provide the cleaning services his customer's craved. Riaz had to dabble in other trades to get a true sense of "What is out there!" Riaz graduated from the University of Southern California in 1988 with a degree in Real Estate Finance from USC and launched into Real Estate Investment and Property Management. Time passes, and he longed to be home doing what he does best - Dry Clean. May be hard to believe, but, hey it's in his blood! So one day, Riaz returns home to open his own Dry Cleaner. Then opens another, and another until he is servicing several communities throughout the Inland Empire and San Diego County providing the ultimate in clothing care. All things lead to Boston. Riaz married Kate, a beautiful young banker, and had a son. It, too, was love at first sight. His next location was called Boston, after his son, thus combining Riaz's passion for family and business. Boston Cleaners will forever be a part of the Chauthani family and they think of it as family. They care about each individual customer and their clothes. Now, Boston Cleaners is growing throughout the Inland Empire, their home, happily providing Cleaning services to their neighbors and all their customers. It doesn't get any better than that! Or maybe it does! Riaz joined forces with his friend and associate, Brent Raminofsky of Las Vegas. Thus spurred the Las Vegas Boston Cleaners. What next, you may ask - Look for the Boston Logo!
